Since 2008, Texan Scuba Inc. has helped people from all over the world become PADI open water scuba divers. We offer scuba lessons, scuba gear and dive travel services. Our program is affordable and more accommodating to people who want to learn to scuba dive but don't have the time to go to class three days a week for two weeks. You do all of your book work online in the comforts of your home. Once completed, you join us for the weekend, and the real fun begins.

We are the only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in the state of Texas that offers a program with the Blue Lagoon where you can complete your open water dives in one weekend! We offer free camping to all of our open water students in our air-conditioned shelters, while taking their classes with Texan Scuba. We welcome you to join us! Phil and Sharla have been diving since 2000 when they decided to get their whole family certified so they could Begin the Adventure of a Lifetime! Their two kids are grown and married now but they too continue to dive! In 2005 Phil received his open water scuba instructor rating and began teaching. He is a PADI Master Instructor. In 2008 Sharla and Phil opened Texan Scuba and The Blue Lagoon and have rapidly turned it into the best dive training center in Texas!
